A day in the life of a live streamer can vary depending on the individual and the type of content they create. However, For me, here is an example of what a typical day might look like for a female live streamer:
Morning:
Wake up early to get ready for the day, including doing hair and selecting outfits for going live.
Check social media notifications, emails, and messages from followers and fans.
Review the day's schedule and plan out content and streaming sessions.
Make breakfast and perhaps do some light exercise or stretching to get energized for the day.
Afternoon:
Set up the streaming equipment, including multiple cameras, iPhone stands, lighting, and any other necessary gear.
Start streaming, engaging with viewers and setting goals, creating art, cracking jokes or doing whatever the chosen content is.
Take short breaks between streams to rest, hydrate, and actually eat for once!
Evening:
Edit videos or create new content for the platforms.
Attend any events or meetups, either virtual or in-person, as part of the streaming community.
Wind down before bed by reading, meditating, or spending time with family and friends.
It's important to note that live streaming can be a demanding and time-consuming job, and there may be unexpected challenges or last-minute changes to the schedule. Many live streamers put in long hours, often working on weekends and holidays to keep up with their followers' demands. Additionally, being a female live streamer, we face unique challenges related to sexism, harassment, and online safety, and may need to take additional precautions to protect themselves and their communities.
